Classic Cinema is a Kodi addon that scrapes public domain movies and television shows from Archive.org and Google Video. This addon is great for those who are looking to experience classic cinematography and film making. Once in a while you want to watch something different, Classic Cinema will provide. The site it scrapes content from is called Classic Cinema Online.
Classic Cinema for Kodi is located in the official Kodi repo. That means that Classic Cinema can be installed in less than a few seconds, onto any device that is already running Kodi. We’re now going to show you how to install Classic Cinema, the new “old” addon you’ll wonder how you ever lived without.
Step 1: Click on the Add-ons tab from the vertical menu bar within Kodi.
Step 2: Navigate to the little box icon at the top left of the screen.
Step 3: Select the Install from repository function.
Step 4: Select the Kodi Add-on repository from the listing.
Step 5: Select the Video add-ons category.
Step 6: Choose the Classic Cinema Kodi addon from the listing.
Step 7: Click on the Install button at the lower right.
Step 8: Return back to the Add-ons menu at this point.
Step 9: Launch the Classic Cinema addon from the Video add-ons tab.
Shoutout goes to Jonathan Beluch (jbel) for this super cool addon. Thank you to the Kodi addon repository as well and of course to the filmmakers of yesteryear.
