Why does an episode from an old series stream, instead of the new series episode?

They will. Everything (apps and settings, downloads, the lot) is stored in flash RAM. So, same as with your Android phone, when you remove the battery (assuming it's a removable battery) you don't lose anything. I doubt that any of the dedicated Android media players have batteries anyway...

Why does an episode from an old series stream, instead of the new series episode?

Since my previous thread of similar subject was closed before anyone could provide a meaningful answer, here is the solution for the issue of why it's sometimes hard to get the correct episode to stream, regardless of which Kodi add-on you're using. This is often the case when there is more than...

Question Why does an old series ep stream instead of the right one (eg Lost In Space)?

What sort of a joke response is that? This entire forum exists to assist users of Kodi add-ons. Whether those add-ons are illegal or otherwise is irrelevant when the question posed made no mention of which add-ons are involved. So firstly, for you to make that assumption is rather presumptuous...

Question Why does an old series ep stream instead of the right one (eg Lost In Space)?

Just using Lost In Space as an example, no matter which streaming add-on I'm using, more often than not it will end up streaming an episode of the original Lost In Space series from the 1960s instead of the new 2018 series. I use Trakt so I know it's not a search issue on my part, because the...

    Cdata??

Well, I did get a 'The TVDB' update come through today, but for me nothing has changed since. Ex**us Redux still not working, Tempest works fine, just like the last few days.

    TVDB - A possible fix

Hmm, thanks. Did a trial run just editing the episodes.py for Y*da. Found 3 instances that needed editing within the file. Saved, started Kodi, ran Y*da, still no dice. Oh well.

    Cdata??

Link please? Or is the best solution to just uninstall Ex**us & Y*da and use Tempest (or Fen) instead from now on?

    Cdata??

Thanks for advice above re Tempest. I can confirm it works (googled how to install) whereas Y*da, Ex**us Redux and Confluence all still returning no TV data.

    Cdata??

Same issue here. Glad I'm not the only one! Before checking here I even restored a backup from a few days ago, no good either.

Any other Aussies having TenPlay issues?

Hi @shiznix thanks for your work on this! I would like to implement it but I have no idea where to start - any pointers?

Any other Aussies having TenPlay issues?

Quite a conundrum, this one. Firstly, the add-on reports that it's part of the Aussie Add-ons repo, and it's v1.0.0 But checking through both versions of the repo that I have, (1.0.0 and 1.5.0) I can't find the TenPlay add-on in either. Neither is it listed as part of the repo here...

Any other Aussies having TenPlay issues?

Thanks @syntax I appreciate you looking at that! I guess I'll try to find out who the author is and maybe contact them via GitHub. If I have any luck I'll report back here for the benefit of others. Cheers.

Any other Aussies having TenPlay issues?

Hi @RavRob are you (or anyone else here) able to diagnose that log file please? The issue hasn't changed over the last month. Cheers.

Any other Aussies having TenPlay issues?

Thanks for your quick response and the link! Good to know how to check the log. Logfile is at http://paste.kodi.tv/huvoyesime Per the instructions I have generated the error twice prior to generating the log.

Any other Aussies having TenPlay issues?

TenPlay from Aussie Add-Ons just throws up "tenplay error - check the log..." over the last few weeks for me. There's nothing in the Kodi log about it, so I'm not actually sure which log it means. The other Aussie Add-Ons (7Plus, Nine) seem to work OK. Any ideas? Cheers!
