Finally got this working! :)
As I mentioned I had done fresh install using v 2.5.6 and also ensured all settings were set to default and this did not work, however, when I changed the "Use HLS for Live Tv" to the "Off" position, I can once again view the live streams.
I don't believe this is...
I have enabled show hidden flies and cannot find a temp directory under profile.
The only files there are:
Any suggestions where I might find the temp...
While I hope this addon will be updated, in the interim if you need a non Kodi live ITV fix you can use the actual ITV Hub which I believe works on any android box (I use a FireTV) or TVTAP or if your prefer to use a PC browser try searching EasyView.
Although these are all reasonable...
While I do not have a Filmon account to test I would suggest you ensure you have the latest Filmon app for your device. I don't think the previous popular versions are available or supported any longer and may a possible reason why you are getting an error while logging in.
Good point that most EPGs will work.
Filmon was a nice consolidator which made for easy viewing. Most people will have to make some adjustments but should be able to find some of the channels they previously enjoyed.
I have to head over to my dad's place and do a few adjustments. Even though...
ITV and BBC players work fine, do not time out for either live or archived streams and can be linked to the FTV guide. Obviously less content than provided by the entire Filmon but decent alternative for BBC and ITV content. Stream quality also appears better than the SD feed previously provided...
ITV and BBC players work fine for both live and archived streams and I just linked them to the FTV guide. Obviously far less content than provided by FilmOn but most of what I watch is on BBC and ITV. Stream quality better than the SD feed previously provided by Filmon.
I just wanted to make sure that wwwbust was aware of the latest efforts by Netflix to counter act a VPN or unblocker use by its legitimate subscribers.
I would agree with you many Kodi apps are not geoblocked and much of Netflix and similar content can be found through other sources.
You may want to wait depending on what provider service you hope to access by using a VPN. I currently use a very popular service to access Netflix and Hulu from outside the US, however as of Saturday (March 26) Netflix is blocking this service. Upon logging in to the US library I am receiving...
I have 2 units affected both loaded with Llama, one using Icono TV and the other using the Classic TV icon. My friend using a Firestick also has same issue. Given that over 100 people have read this thread I suspect the issue is affecting many users. As Kodi still launches and seems otherwise...
Glad you got it working, perhaps it just needed a restart after the install which is often the case.
If you download the latest version of adbFire (v1.27) the sacrificial apps now used by Llama are IkonoTv amd TubiTV. Although previous versions also used Classic TV (can't remember seeing Drive...
Solved - FVT Not Recognizing USB Flash Drive
Thank you ponghclub that was exactly the problem. I never read about setting that option to off in any of the articles or posts I read on the subject before posting.
Since Amazon opened up the USB port I have tried attaching several different drives that having been sitting around on my desk but none seem to be recognized by my FTV.
I have reformatted each drive as Fat32 and my FTV is not rooted and updated to 184.108.40.206_user_515040320.
Anyone actually got...
After having difficulty trying to SSH into my AFTV and then getting some valuable help from users here, I wrote the following mini guide to help others that may want to know how set up a simple FTP session into their AFTV. While much of the information came from various sources and my trial and...
All good. I can now get in to fiddle with things. LOL
As suggested I installed SSHDroid which allows me to then get in using Cyberduck or Filezilla.
After more testing and learning I think most tasks can be completed using adbFire and probably ES File Explorer.
Thanks to all that offered help.
