i am using raspberry pi, have tried both openelec and libre elec
Same issue, openelec on a raspberry pi 3 clean install. Tested 3 different physical pi's and 2 microsd cards.

Error on install, log says failed due to an invalid structure.

Tried installing the repository xmbchub same error.

Went back to kodi 16 and works again.

Solved it:

I used a new install of openelec 8 krypton, the issues is when it installs it doesn't resize the ad card correctly. It gives 500meg total to the os with 112meg free after install and 30meg swap partition. This doesn't allow enough space for fusion to install.

I installed openelec 7 which uses all the available space on the sd card (32gig for me) then do a manual update to version 8 krypton by putting the upgrade file in the update folder on the raspberry pi and rebooting.

Now the partition sizes are correct and I can install fusion.

Hope that helps
