Request Casting live streams from XBMC/KODI android to chromecast??!?

Hi All,

As the title says; I am looking to try and figure out a way to stream live TV/Sports streams directly from my Nexus 7 to my Chrome Cast.

So far Ive tried doing this through the below 3 with no luck :

Y2cast/moliPlayer combo
Avia
AllCast

Any help/suggestions would be ace!

easy.

first make sure that external player is enabled in tvmc settings. then install vlc, modify your playercorefactory.xml to use vlc as default.

cast screen in chromecast app first, then start up tvmc and play your media. it will start in vlc and cast to your chromecast. your nexus 7 will then be a remote control

The trick is entirely having the CAST SCREEN option working with your device. Then it doesn't matter how you view it on the tablet. Also, USTVNOW allows casting from their browser as well.... Or they did a few months back when I was trying similar tweaks.
