Hi,

I've been running Jarvis 16.1 (via Freetelly) on Windows 10 Pro on PC for a while and would like to start using the latest version of Kodi. However, I would like to keep Jarvis around just in case things screw up. How should I go about installing Krypton or Leia without affecting my Jarvis install.

Thx in advance.

If you have freetelly (a fork of kodi) installed, an official kodi install will be a separate installation with its own directory.
They run separately and do not effect each other.
You can just follow the normal instructions for installing kodi.

Yes.
or run both at the same time LOL (I dont know why you would wnt to though)
Keep in mind that any addons you have in freetelly will not be in the new kodi install

BTW, do I need to install the later version in something called portable mode or can I just install it to a different directory? And what is considered the latest stable Kodi?

No, Just do a normal install
portable mode is something you can use after you install kodi. but you wont need that
portable mode uses a temp kodi user directory when you run it that way I believe
By default kodi uses \Kodi as the directory
freetelly uses \Freetelly as its directory
There is nothing to change. It has already been done in the freetelly fork

The latest stable version of kodi is 18.3
