I'm going to be ordering a Pi, and I have this power supply lying around. Does it look like it will power the Pi with no issues?

If you are lost order the one most brought with the pi on RS or Farnell it costed me 5£ and is better than a iPad 2A. Other stores does also have this option. Don't pay much more though. It gives you good guarantee both for working or getting your money back or a return for better one that does work if not, though it's very unlikely.

Using OHMS Law, volts time amps equals power measured in watts, you have 5VDC at 700 mA = 3.5 Watts, not good enough, need to get the current up to at least 1 amp. It doesn't matter if you exceed the 1 amp, as long as the Voltage is at 5 VDC.
