to little information! And.......in the agreement with the VPN providers is also noted that downloads/streaming etc. from "illegal" sites is forbidden, so, the VPN provider cán take actions to block sites. Not saying that you are breaking the agreement but just something about the small print.

have you tried installing an addon from the kodi repo such as the excellent Filmrise?

openload and streamango have been shutdown by ACE

What sort of problems? What device? What addons are you using?

all tghe original addons indigo get hub etc

You don't need a VPN with these two addons. Try removing your VPN and see if that helps. Short of that, maybe @Shinzin might be able to help with these two addons.

you will need a vpn to install unverified apps as amazon blocks them.

and if a vpn provider started blocking sites you are trying to access they'd go out of business in five minutes!

With Indigo, the lists of addons is still down. Addon Installer cant work without it. still waiting on the api updates to be finished.
For github browser, I would have to see your log to try and figure out why its not working
