@ccadi, there is another Tofu image http://www.pivosforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=5091

Please can you create a signed image. With this one, there is a way of unlocking the cpu

http://www.pivosforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=5091&start=20

SSH to the box and execute the following commands:
CODE: SELECT ALL
cd /root/.kodi
wget http://www.pivosforums.com/download/file.php?id=637 -O S94tofu-pre
chmod 755 S94tofu-pre
reboot

To undo SSH to the box and execute
CODE: SELECT ALL
rm /root/.kodi/S94tofu-pre
reboot

How to determine which XIOS DS hardware version you have (M1 or M3) ?

SSH/Terminal

CODE: SELECT ALL BELOW
M1 --> S/N: 0002 G X XX XX XXXX
M3 --> S/N: 0002 G M3 X XX XX XXXX
M3v2 --> S/N: 0002 G M3 4 XX XX XXXX

TOFULinux M3 firmwares are compatible with both M3 and M3v2 hardware revisions.

I am surprised anyone is still following this, if anyone is interested, there is a newer version

The images need to be signed, I cannot do this myself. :)

I don't have the latest version, I have tried several times in the past to sign the pivos images with no success. Now it is used in the bedroom. I moved on to a NUC with Openelec a few months ago.

You have to give Pivos credit for updating it for so long.

The .img isn't showing up on usb or micro sd when i go to apply update.
Comparing it to the last signed update i think its because it isn't an .img file its a .zip file?.

No bother but i tried changing the extension to .img but still stays a .zip so may be more to it for the mere mortals!. Unless you need to do this in an application before creating the .img?.
