Running kodi 15.2 on android MXQ box. It keeps crashing on an Aquois smart tv. It is happening on two tv's.
I start running video's (movies) and the power cuts out and shuts off the tv and cable box.
Small issue of volume drops to zero bars on the second volume setting.

plug it in by itself, find another electrical outlet if you need to. It shouldn't be affecting the cable box and tv if its plugged in by itself.

Hopefully it isn't one of those "pre loaded" boxes.

when a seller installs kodi and any old addon packages, its prone to crash quite frequently.

The best way is if you install it yourself from scratch, that way you can be assured of who's addon package you used. Addon packages not from this place can have malware and/or other bad code. Thats why we always encourage others to use only the addons found here. They're safe.

The problem with a Android crash it set the volume to zero... To get around this when you play a movie/TV Show press the select key which brings up the Kodi Instruct bar that shows rewind, pause, stop etc etc scroll right to Audio then enter, here is where you can move volume back to full again.
