Launch Kodi from Home Scren

First step first

You have to side-load XBMC or Kodi onto your FTV.
Now you can do these steps.
Open the adbFire app and follow the steps below.

Enter the IP Address of your Amazon Fire TV.
Hit Connect button.
Click on Llama Options. A separate window will popup.
Choose “Link Kodi to ikonoTV”.
Choose “Replace ikonoTV icon with Kodi icon”.
Click OK
Let adbFire do its thing and proceed to completion.

YOU MUST DO THIS STEP FOR THIS TO WORK.
Import Llama Settings

So go to Settings -> Applications -> Manage All Installed Applications -> Llama -> Launch Application.

Click on the Llama settings icon on the lower left corner and then select “Import/Export Data”.
Next, choose “Import from USB Storage” and click “YES” to confirm import. Upon successful import, you will see confirmation message on the screen.

Also a side note, I also did the Amazon app synch and it never showed up, funny thing? It did showed up in my friends FTV box which I did for him, who happens to live a few blocks from me.

that is strange, its always been very easy for me and I've never had a problem, its free so i go through the process of buying it from the Amazon app store without actually downlading it (i do this from another device], sideload kodi on the ftv (before or after step above but before next step), run sync content and that's it
