Not good to keep the firestick's power adapter plugged in all the time?

I have noticed that when the firestick is ON (plugged into its power adapter,) it get relatively warm and stays warm even when not in use. So, I've been unplugging the adapter when not in use and re-plugging when using. Been doing this because I'm thinking that I may be prolonging the firestick's life??? Comments...

Honestly, the hot/cold cycles and start/stop cycles are worse for modern solid stated electronics then constant (acceptable range) temps, are as a rule of thumb...

There are of course pros and cons on both sides, but IMO (as an electronics design engineer) the on/off hot/cold start/stop cycles are more likely to cause a premature failure in a solid state device like an fire stick, then leaving it plugged in all the time...

But, upon full disclosure this is not a hard set rule set in stone...

Solid state electronics, go to sleep, a little above ambient...all OK with me...will keep plugged in.
