To those having trouble I fixed it by following one users instructions of taking out the S in https:// . Everyone said it must have the S and be spelled exactly so, but after I spelled it differently it worked fine. So to all the condescending jerks telling everyone we were doing it wrong and then not offering any other help other than "well you must be doing something wrong" after people reported back that it was spelled right and they followed all instructions. You can go F yourself. Finally got it working after some random guy figured it out.

Im just a little salty because everyone here that seems to be an older user is a jerk. I get it, we are new, we probably are screwing something up. However give someone the benefit of the doubt when they come back three times saying they are following the link you given them. If you dont have anything to add then just stfu, saying "you must just be doing something wrong" doesnt help. Obviously something is wrong.

If there is some documentation on this site outside of the forums telling you that the correct address to enter is https://.... rather than http://.... for setting up fusion then please let us know where and it will be rectified since it is obviously wrong.

The instructions on how to set up fusion are at https://www.tvaddons.co/fusion-kodi-krypton and there is no mention there of https just http in both text and the screenshots used. I don't know where you got the advice from to use https, us older users have been telling people it's http for as long as fusion has been around as it's perhaps the most common mistake used when setting it up so we've pretty much committed it to heart.

Sorry you got so frustrated over this but I'm glad it's working for you now.

'We' have been telling people for months to double check their typing and make sure they didn't type https as that is wrong. The 'official' tutorial on this site that 'we' refer people to clearly denotes you use http... In fact I have probably been telling people this weekly for months now...

I take it you found some other tutorial on some other website that was wrong and you might want to take your complaints to that site and correct them...

everyone here that seems to be an older user is a jerk.
From yuor language, it seems you're the jerk. We constantly repeat you should check your spelling. Espcially for HTTPS where it should be HTTP, comas, semi-colons etc. If you haven't read a post that specifically said that, it is because you haven't bother to read.

Next time do some reading before you call the senior member names.

AS for the older users here being "jerks"
Its not that. Its far from it.
The older users here just arent psychic.
If your using some flaky (and incorrect) tutorial from another site but only saying "I typed just as the tutorial said" but not saying what it said to type, then how are the users here (that assume you mean the tutorial FROM here that is correct) supposed to know that?
Also
If you were given the correct tutorial, failed to type it in correctly or not follow the steps exactly, and still insist that you "did it right", then should the "older user" keep arguing with you about it that you did something wrong? Or do as you say and "just stfu"?
Who should give who the "the benefit of the doubt"?
Now if people post logs or say exactly what they are doing it might help a bit (like this person did four months ago: No files in Fusion folder while saying it "is nothing i am doing wrong").
Lashing out at people that are just trying to help, because they cant read your mind or see exactly what you typed in, is ridicules and should not be happening.

[edit] Also, I dont know who "everyone" is, but if "everyone" is telling you to use https in the fusion address, then "everyone" is wrong

You are correct at me being mistaken. I followed the advice of the same guy in three separate threads....Sigh. Im sorry guys. I just saw so many people saying "youre spelling it wrong" and then post the link to the fusion website that has the S in the link, but if you follow the pictures the picture doesnt have an S. Sorry for my confusion. As you can see I clearly picked the best name for myself.

Funny. The guy telling you to use https has only 3 posts on the forums and all 3 were just posts telling you to use https :D

And the 'random guy' who told you the correct url was me, an older user with over 2,000 posts!
