Hi, I'm new to the forums and am interesting in using XBMC, specifically the 1Ch**nel addon that has been recommended to me by a friend. Until now I have been using FireCore's ATV2 Flash Black on my jailbroken ATV2 (OS 5.0.3), primarily because of the Infuse application which I use extensively. Can anyone give me advice on the correct steps to follow to get XBMC fully up and running with 1Ch**nel? FireCore allows me to install XBMC but I cannot get any add-ons to work. So should I remove XBMC from the FireCore install and it from scrtach using Nito for instance? Many thanks.

As long as your have XBMC Frodo 12.2 you're good to go!

In order to install 1Ch**nel you will want to download fusion. See this guide: http://www.xbmchub.com/blog/2012/04/24/fusion-easy-addon-installation-for-xbmc/

Once fusion is installed you can download the 1Ch**nel repo by going into most popular. You will see a zip file called 1Ch**nel-repository.bstrdsmkr-0.0.3.zip. Simply click on this file and it will download the repo.

Go to System->Add-ons->Get Add-ons->Click on Bstrdsmkr repository->Click on 1Ch**nel->Click Install

Now you can find the 1Ch**nel add-on in the video add-on section of the main menu.

Note: You can also download the XBMCHUB Wizard from fusion. This will automatically configure XBMC with add-ons.

Welcome to the site, you might want to check out the following guide:

Flash Black also gives you a very nice backup option that you should use. It lets you save your firmware blobs to the cloud (your firmware is untethered and much desired)and lets you backup your user settings for a disaster!
