Whats Happening to xbmc addons

Was just wondering whats happening to all the xbmc addons every time i try to open them up it comes up scheduled for deletion is there some one taking xbmc over or are they just getting rid of completely????? Kinda liked a few of them going to miss them

I have not seen that yet. What addons are you trying that give this message?

any of the xbmc addons bbq pit boys , ellen degenereses , high times , nugporn etc. any of the original xbmc addons are all slated for deletion

Are they from the official Kodi repository? I'm not familiar with them. If they use you tube that could be why. YouTube app not working if I recall. Not supported by original developer anymore.

Its because they are basically a You Tube addon extension, in other words they use the YouTube addon to play streams, and The Youtube addon is broken SO its NOT ALL addons at all , just the ones that rely on youtube .

AND nothing is "slated for deletion" THAT is what the bug in the youtube causes to be displayed. Just be patient , someone will pick up development for it soon i am sure

In the kodi forum youll see that they already rewrote the YouTube addon with no errors. It has the same version number but it's rewritten. There are links here in this orum that will direct you there if you want to fix it. I fixed all mine and they work perfectly now. I wish I saved the link but I didn't once I got the zip file.

The trick is to use es file explorer and remove youtube from addons AND userdata, if you try to uninstall via kodi addon settings it tells you you can't
