Opening the Context Menu in Kodi (16.1 Jarvis or Below)

You might hear us talk about the Context Menu or Contextual Menu in Kodi from time to time. This is a menu that generally offers certain advanced functionality depending on when it’s used. It could be used to open extended options in add-ons, or manipulate files or what not. It varies by device, so we’re going to explain how to open it using the most popular Kodi compatible devices.

It does different things depending on what you have highlighted when you toggle it, but one of the main uses of the Context Menu is to pop up movie or show information when you have highlighted a video title within pretty much any add-on.
