Last Viewed/Played - List of the last movies, episodes and music played

Lists what was played most recently, allowing to resume watching directly from the addon.

Before if you wanted to finish viewing something that you had to interrupt, you had to remember it and then search, or go through a number of menus to get back to where you were.
With this addon just open it and it will display on top the last thing you watched. Click and it will resume playing directly from the addon.

    Usage
When you start playing anything in KODI it will be added to the list of last played. Naturally, the only exception is TV.

To remove from the played list something you watched:
Open the list of last played, select the line to remove, and choose "Remove from list" form the context menu.

    Settings:
Number of lines: How many lines to display on screen
Show Addons: Choose wether to list or not what was played using addons
Group Addons (ON): It will group what was played on all addons on a single list
Group Addons (OFF): It will show a list of all addons used, and when one is selected shows what was played with that addon
Show Date: Display for each item the date when it was played
Show Time: Display time of play
Enable Debug: Display an extra menu option allowing to clear the full list, and logs information to help solve eventual errors

    Installation

so far I've tried it with kissanime iplayer ****** worked amazing though it only stores url at the moment, rodrigl is trying his best to see if he can add the title and other meta data.

UMP didnt work and once I searched something in UMP, nothing worked in "others"
another member in kodi.org said its not working with exodus, can someone confirm? and provide a log for rodrigl, that would be awesome.

rodrigl would love feedback and feature suggestions, IMO this is a very nice addon that I have been wishing for ages

You shouldn't post a log which contains a list of addons from here on their site. Your post will simply get binned and you will get scolded....

If/when rodrigl comes to this forum then a log can be posted.

RavRob I've deleted my suggestion of posting on kodi.org and your right I shoudnt have said that.
rodrigl has said he will create an account on this site shortly, which is good news

he's also got a new version with metadata already working! he works fast

New version that already shows the metadata/tilte of videos played from addons. Sometimes the addon fails to send the title to kodi, in that case it displays the date/time. I'll see later if is possible to improve this.
feel free to try it out and suggestions and feedback im sure will be appreciated by rodrigl

    update

    ------------------------
    Last Viewed/Played (16-Jul-16)
    ------------------------

    - Now it gets the title and poster pretty much every time.
    - Also we can now remove from the list movies we dont want, using the context menu

    ----------------------------------------------------
For Future Updates, Currently working on
    ----------------------------------------------------

    - Now what I'll try to do is to separate them by addon (maybe as an option)

    rodrigl

I've also asked rodrigl to have a repo so we can get automatic updates
Latest version of the addon is here
    https://github.com/rodrigl/plugin.video.last_played

    Thanks

Version 1.0.5 is out. Brings new maintenance and debug options.
Even though it seems to be working well for most people it's nice to have this handy.

Feedback, suggestions, thank yous and complaints, all is welcome
