Kodi can be easily installed to most Android devices through the Google Play Store app, the same way you’d install any other Android app. It can be installed to Android mobile phones, Android tablets, and of course Android TV boxes. This is by far the easiest way to download Kodi for Android and shouldn’t take more than a couple of minutes of your time. You’ll find that most Android devices give you access to the Google Play Store app.
Kodi for Android is by far the most widely used version of Kodi, because Android TV boxes are so easy to use, affordable, and make running Kodi feel more natural on your television set. Kodi for Android is actually far younger than other Kodi versions, and was only released a few years ago. Kodi for Android is much easier to install to devices that offer the Google Play Store, than it is to download to those without.
Current Version: Kodi 17.4 Krypton
Step 1: Navigate to the Play Store app on your Android device.
Step 2: Click on the Search Google Play input box.
Step 3: Input kodi using the on-screen keyboard, and then click on the top Kodi search result.
Step 4: Click on the green INSTALL button.
Step 5: Click on the green ACCEPT button to proceed.
Step 6: Wait a minute for the Kodi app to download and install.
Step 7: Click on the green OPEN button to launch Kodi for the first time. If you’re on an Android TV device you’re now done, mobile phone and tablet users should continue reading below.
Now that you have Kodi installed to your Android TV device, you’ll probably want to go ahead and add our Fusion Installer, followed by our Indigo tool which will help you get started with your Kodi addon setup.

Step 8: Click on the cogwheel button at the bottom right of your screen.
Step 9: Click on the Appearance menu.
Step 10: Click on the Skin field that displays re-Touched by default.
Step 11: Click on the Confluence skin.
Step 12: Click on the Yes button when prompted to keep the skin change.
Step 13: Return to your Kodi home screen to find it look like it does in the rest of our guides, you’re done!
