Going back to school is expensive for everyone; even those in Canada, Germany, Slovenia, Norway and other countries with low tuition. Thankfully, your entertainment doesn’t have to be. Online streaming eliminates the need for expensive cable TV packages, and Kodi makes your streaming experience almost on par with Netflix.
Kodi can be installed to almost any device or platform. It makes it easy to access online streaming content on your own terms; eliminating things like popup ads, malware and other nuisances. There are hundreds of Kodi addons to choose from, each granting the ability to scrape content from different popular streaming web sites.
If you’re living on campus and don’t want your school knowing everything you do online, we highly suggest the use of a VPN. VPN services allow you to protect your privacy (hide your IP), bypass site blocking and censorship, as well as encrypt your data…

Kodi can be installed to any computer running Windows, Mac or Linux; as well as to any mobile device running Android or iOS. However, if you can afford it, a dedicated TV box that connects directly to your television will allow you to maximize your experience.

GitHub Usernames
There are literally hundreds of Kodi addons to choose from, developed by dozens of third party developers. Figuring out which GitHub usernames to lookup might be a bit tricky the first time around, but shouldn’t be too difficult. As a start, we suggest searching for “GitHub Usernames Kodi” on Google.
Since we are currently fighting a major copyright lawsuit, we need to be careful about which Kodi addons we provide assistance for. Unfortunately we cannot teach you how to use Blacklisted Kodi Addons, but the process is the same no matter what you’re installing; all that changes is the GitHub username.
Get Kodi Addons
Once you’ve figured out which Kodi addons you wish to install, and which GitHub Usernames to lookup in order to do so, the Git Browser allows you to connect directly to individual developers’ repositories without any interference from us.
Step 1: Input your desired developer’s GitHub Username using the on-screen keyboard, then press the OK button. We’re using mhancoc7 as an example.
Step 2: Select the developer’s repository first, it should look something like repository.username-1.0.0.zip or similar. In this example, repository.mhancoc7.public-0.1.2.zip is found.
Step 3: Press the Install button to proceed.
Step 4: Wait a few seconds for the Kodi repository download to process.
Step 5: Press the Continue button when prompted.
Step 6: You’ll now want to select the Kodi addon you wish to install. Addons files usually look like plugin.video.name-1.2.0.zip or similar. In this example, the file is called plugin.video.freelivetv.tva-0.1.2.zip as shown below.
Step 7: Press the Install button to proceed with the Kodi addon installation.
Step 8: Wait a minute for your desired Kodi addon to download and install.
Step 9: Press the Restart button once you’re done installing your desired Kodi addons. Kodi will need to be restarted before the addons you’ve chosen will work.
Streaming with Kodi
Every Kodi addon is different. Some require that you select a cyberlocker source before viewing content, others simply stream as soon as you choose your desired content title. Once you get the hang of it, you should find it pretty intuitive.
Step 1: Relaunch Kodi, then press the Dismiss button to close the notification window if prompted.
Step 2: Click on the Add-ons tab from the vertical menu bar within Kodi.
Step 3: Select the Kodi addon you wish to launch. For this example, we’re going to go with the Free Live TV addon we just installed.
Step 4: Press OK to dismiss any notification if prompted.
Step 5: Select the category you wish to browse. We’re going to choose US TV for this example.
Step 6: Select the channel that you wish to live stream.
Step 7: Choose the specific streaming source you wish to watch.
Step 8: Watch and Enjoy!
We hope that wasn’t too painful for you. While we admit Kodi might be a bit difficult to get started with initially, once you get a grasp of how it works you should find it a breeze.
