Netflix is Coming to Kodi in the Upcoming v18 Leia Release

There’s some very exciting news coming for those of you who are tired of watching Netflix through your computer’s web browser! Netflix is already working within the beta version of Kodi v18 Leia, thanks in part to the long overdue addition of DRM support.

The Netflix addon itself is unofficial so as far as we know it won’t be included with Kodi by default. It is developed by asciidisco, with code being contributed by over 30 other developers. No longer will you have to use your laggy web browser to access Netflix, Kodi is far superior for this purpose since it’s designed around video playback.

We’re even more excited to see what other Kodi addons will come to future versions of Kodi, which support far more functionality than anything we’ve seen in the past. We’re hoping to see Amazon Prime Video and Hulu addons around the corner.

We would like to mention that we don’t recommend upgrading to the beta version, since many popular Kodi addons will break. Most addon developers usually wait until the stable release is out before fine tuning compatibility, since things could break or change in the meantime.
