Kodi downloads what is called an addon package everytime it updates each of your Kodi addons. This means that if you have a lot of addons, and they update often, you’ll find you these packages to take up quite a bit of space on your device.
Once your Kodi addon updates have been successfully installed, there’s no need to actually keep these addon packages at all. You can now easily purge them from your device using our Indigo tool.
Step 1: Navigate to the PROGRAMS menu.
Step 2: Launch the Indigo tool.
Step 3: Select the Maintenance Tools menu.
Step 4: Click on the Purge Packages function.
Step 5: Press the Delete button when prompted to confirm.
Step 6: Press the OK button once completed and return to your Kodi home screen.
Indigo should automatically do this for you once in a while as well, but if you’ve been using Kodi for a while without it, you mind find it frees up quite a bit of space.[kkstarratings]
