For those of you on the other side of the pond, Sky News Live brings you around-the-clock coverage from the United Kingdom and beyond. The Sky News Live addon for Kodi scrapes its stream directly from official sources, and streams are therefore of high quality and reliability. We don’t really think Sky News needs any further introduction, it’s one of the most popular news broadcasters in the world, with many international news desks.
We’re now going to walk you through installing the Sky News Live Kodi addon using our new Git Browser tool. The Git Browser was just recently released, and allows you to interact directly with addon developers so that you can download any Kodi addon you’d like. Once you get familiar with the process below, you’ll find that it makes installing the latest Kodi addons easier than ever.
Step 1: Click on the Add-ons tab from the vertical menu bar within Kodi.
Step 2: Navigate to the Program add-ons submenu.
Step 3: Launch the Git Browser tool for Kodi.
Step 4: Select the Search by GitHub Username function.
Step 5: Click on the *** New Search *** function.
Step 6: Input tvaddonsco using the on-screen keyboard, then press the OK button.
Step 7: Choose the plugin.video.skynews.tva-0.1.3.zip from the listing.
Step 8: Click on the Install button.
Step 9: Wait a few seconds for the Sky News Live Kodi addon to download.
Step 10: Press the Restart button to finalize installation of the Sky News Live Kodi addon.
Step 11: Relaunch Kodi and then once again click on the Add-ons tab from the vertical menu bar.
Step 12: Navigate to the Video add-ons submenu if you aren’t already there.
Step 13: Launch the Sky News Live Kodi addon for the first time.
Step 14: If prompted about MPEG-DASH click the OK button to proceed.
Step 15: Choose the MPEG-DASH submenu from the vertical sidebar.
Step 16: Enable the Use MPEG-DASH option.
Step 17: Click on the OK button at the top right of the window.
Step 18: Launch the Sky News Live Kodi addon once again.
Step 19: If prompted to execute the YouTube setup wizard, just click the No button.
Step 20: If prompted to Enable InputStream Adaptive, press the Yes button.
Step 21: Watch and Enjoy!
