Change Menus View to Thumbnail Mode in Kodi (16.1 Jarvis or Below)

Most of time, pretty much every menu in Kodi looks better in thumbnail mode. You’ll need to manually set the option to thumbnail mode in whichever menu you’d like to have displayed as thumbnails.

You’ll want to use your judgement in deciding which Kodi menus you think look better in which view mode, some might look better as a list, while some might look better displayed as thumbnails.

Required: Kodi 16.1 Jarvis or Below

Step 1: Navigate to whichever menu that you’d like to set to thumbnail mode.

Step 2: Click on your left cursor and you’ll see a View Options menu appear.

Step 3: Click on where it says View: Info until it displays the View: Thumbnail setting.

Step 4: Done! Click on the right cursor to close the View Options menu, and enjoy your new view setting.

It’s really up to you which menus you want to be displayed in which format, although certain addons do sometimes have them preset for you. You choose how you want your Kodi to look.
