Manually Update Broken URLResolver Dependencies in Kodi (16.1 Jarvis or Below)

It happens from time to time that the URLResolver dependency within Kodi gets corrupted. This is extremely rare, however we’re going to explain how to manually update the URLResolver dependency within Kodi for those of you who might someday encounter problems.

URLResolver is a type of Kodi addon that is called a dependency, because other Kodi addons depend on it in order to operate. What URLResolver does is enables Kodi to access cyberlocker hosted content without any manual interference. URLResolver is presently maintained by tknorris and lambda, who are members of our team.

Required: Fusion Installer on Kodi 16.1 Jarvis or Below

Step 1: Navigate to the Settings tab under the SYSTEM menu.

Step 2: Select the Add-ons tab from the vertical menu bar.

Step 3: Choose the Install from zip file function.

Step 4: Select the fusion server folder.

Step 5: Select the kodi-scripts folder.

Step 6: Click on the script.module.urlresolver-3.0.27.zip file.

Step 7: You’re done! Return to the Kodi home screen, and enjoy your Kodi addon experience.

You should no longer encounter URLResolver errors as this process has gone ahead and reinstalled the dependency as new.
